Users of experiments at Institute of Particle and Nuclear Studies are offered the following support regarding the online data acquisition system. Users are required to file an application with the online group through the planning adjustment staff of experiment of the proton accelerator. The contact person is Hirofumi Fujii. Please send an e-mail to hirofumi.fujii@kek.jp for inquiries or information.
- Lending Online Data Acquisition Systems
We lend computers for online data acquisition and peripherals, such as recording equipment and printers, for experiments.
- Access to In-House Network
Please apply to the online group to connect carry-on equipment to the in-house network in the joint utilization experiment of the neutron accelerator. At the same time, application is also required if you require equipment accessible to the in-house network for experiments.
- Development of Data Acquisition Programs
The Online Data Group offers an environment to develop data acquisition programs. It is available for program development before experiments as well as for testing the data reading.
- Conversion of Recording Medium
Computers that are used to check part of the data obtained by experiments and convert one data recording medium to another are set aside to allow the data to be taken back to the university.
