KEK apartments in Tsukuba Campus are prepared for family’s use.

If you are a ‘single user’, we recommend you to reserve dormitory or local hotel.

There are some exceptions, but basically it doubles the fee,

and is available for only within 10 nights.
Please contact us beforehand to make sure whether you can apply for it or not.

Before you make a apartment reservation, you must have your KEK user registration completed on User Support System. KEK apartment reservation accepts reservation only within 45 days prior to your arrival. You can make it at "Application for accommodation".

If it is necessary to change the dates of or cancel your planned visit to KEK, please change and cancel by yourself of your portal site before coming. But after arrival, please inform the Users Office of the change or cancellation immediately. 

Cancellation for KEK accommodation must be made by the day before your occupancy. You will be required to pay full charge if you fail to do so. (Effective Dec. 1, 2005)

There are a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. There are a TV set, a telephone, kitchen accessories include table wares, funiture, beds, a washing machine, towels etc. But there are not a shampoo and a toothbrush.

There is an apartment manual in each room includes use of electric appliances.

You can use the LAN (only wired) in the apartment. If you would like to use it, please submit the following application form to the Users Office.

Please return a key at the Users Office. If you leave KEK outside of our office hours, please put the key into the "Room Key Return Box" on the counter of the dormitory superintendent's office or leave the key at the Information Center (Guards Office).

Please pay the charge before you leave. When you stay here over 1 month, you will receive a bill for apartment charge every month. Please pay it after you receive the bill.
When you stay KEK 11nights or over, you will receive a bill for utility charge besides the bill for apartment. Please pay it after you receive the bill.

You can make a payment by cash or credit card. We can accept VISA, Master Card, JCB, American Express and Debit card.

* When you stay here over 1 month, we will bring cleaned linens to your apartment on every month of the day which you moved in. Please put the used linens in the bags which the cleaned one is in, and leave it outside of the entrance door on the following day.
